Installation Specialist

Position Overview
We're searching for extroverted and energetic event assistants to join the Pop & Drop team! Our company is growing rapidly and we're looking to expand our team of motivated, responsible, creative, intelligent, and friendly individuals. You must enjoy being around people, have an approachable and engaging personality, appreciate a good party, and be naturally very creative! This job will entail streamer and balloon garland creation, delivery, and setup at various events including corporate functions, weddings and social parties and other events. Primary shift is Wednesday through Sunday.
Our ideal candidate must:
Be at least 18 years old and have a valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation
Have weekend availability, with some weekdays on occasion
Be extremely creative and great at problem-solving
Work well in teams
Demonstrate good time management
Have good communication skills
Be capable of following written and verbal instructions
MUST be able and willing to climb ladders
MUST be able to or willing to learn how to operate large box trucks for balloon transportation
Can perform under pressure well
Have experience in the events industry
Be extremely organized
Be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
Responsibilities:
Preparing and executing balloon installations and various event styling details by following the direction of the Operations Assistant. This job is on an as-need basis depending on booked events. Wednesday through Friday availability preferred, Saturday and Sunday availability is required.
The rate of pay varies based on experience and starts at $17 per hour.
